How Botox® Works

Botox® injections temporarily relax the muscles in the forehead and around the eyes. Since the muscles are relaxed, the overlying skin smoothes out, which also prevents new creases from developing. When the Botox® wears off three to six months later, muscles regain movement.

Botox® helps control excessive underarm perspiration by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands don’t receive chemical signals, the severe perspiration stops.

Restylane® is an FDA-approved dermal filler that reduces the appearance of facial wrinkles and adds volume to the lips.
